It's time for the final art work for Little Cotton Rabbits to be sent off to the rubber factory. Funkykits have asked for their first batch in a kit. So here is a sneaky peek of what we are doing for them. There are others but the first batch of LCR are in this kit. These are just darling dont you just want to cuddle them?

Boom Boom

Move over Basil Brush and bring on Ferdie the Fox. How cool is he?

Bunny hugs to you

These are so cute and warm and fuzzy and woolie. I just cant wait for the new Little Cotton Rabbit stamps to arrive next month. A huge thank you to Linda who drew the designs and to Julie for allowing us to base these stamps on her beautiful knitted rabbits.

Question Time?

We get asked a few questions here at Sugar Nellie, so lets answer the two most asked....

Stamps arrive with you as raw rubber, you can then do one of two things

1- trim and stick to your acrylic block with pritt stick or similar, clean with water or wet wipes.

2- Attach the rubber to EZ mount, trim and use with an acrylic block

Yes it is as simple as that.:)

The option of having the stamps wood mounted would have been three times the price here in the UK.

How do I colour them in?

Depends on which ink you use to stamp with

pigment= use dry clouring pencils

permented= stazon= anything, water colour pencils, whisper pens with blender pens for shading or Prismacolor which are fantastic when used with a blending liquid and paper stumps.

Top Tip#1 choose the paper first and then colour stamped image to match, not the other way around.

Will there be any more kits available?

The kit was only available via Funkykits. The have been asking again and we have ran off some more for them. The cowboy and rock star have been made into fantastic cards, these along with 4 other Sugar Nellie are only available in the kit.
We will be looking at doing 3 or 4 different kits in a year.

More designs

Oh yes there is!
Eva is working on Nellie & Luca
Linda is working on Little Cotton Rabbits
